INTRODUCTION

This Diesel Engine Tune-up is an adaptation of a Workshop conducted at the November 2002 meeting of Division 10 of the Mid Central Region. The Workshop was open to the public, and advertised in advance at local clubs and hobby shops. It included steam and diesel servicing, and was a hands-on, bring-you-own-engine affair. It also included dynamic testing of engines for pull in ounces, tractive efficiency, weight, and electrical characteristics. Division 10 hopes you find this adaptation useful.


	This is the instruction sheet from the Aero-Car Lubrication kit, showing lube points, and keying which lubricants to use. Although the chart's not readable in this picture, we'll cover the lube points in the rest of the clinic. The bottom of the instruction sheet from the Aero Car Lubrication kit shows the lube types, keyed to the lube points in the previous photo. The back side of the sheet gives detailed specifications & instructions.
